2nd Datev Training Certificate Ceremony

Students who succeeded in the DATEV Training organized in cooperation with TAU-SEM / ADDWORX received their certificates at a ceremony. 

The students who succeeded in the Financial Accounting and Year-End Closing Transactions Training were presented their certificates at a ceremony held on April 30, 2024 at TGU SFL Conference Hall. TGU Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Aysel Uzuntaş, ADDWORX Consulting firm co-founders Mustafa Özal and Sinan İlhan, K-TGU International Relations Coordinator Dr. Stefan Bildhauer, academicians and students attended the ceremony. 

Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Uzuntaş made the opening speech of the ceremony held for the students who successfully completed the free training within the framework of the cooperation agreement signed between TAU-SEM and German-based ADDWORX in 2022. In her speech, Prof. Dr. Uzuntaş congratulated the students and gave the message that education is not limited to schools and that it adds value to students to increase their knowledge and skills with such trainings offered outside their university education.

After the Vice Rector's opening speech, TAU-SEM Director Prof. Dr. Elif Nuroğlu started her speech by talking about the mission of TAU-SEM. Prof. Dr. Nuroğlu stated that another aim of TAU-SEM, which aims to create a lifelong learning ground, is to provide an opportunity to enrich the trainings provided by developing collaborations with public and private sector organizations. Prof. Dr. Nuroğlu underlined that the cooperation established with ADDWORX serves this purpose and that the second group of students selected from TGU Business Administration, Economics and Industrial Engineering students benefit from this training provided free of charge by DUT Wirtschaftsfachschule Berlin. Addressing the students in the last part of her speech, TAU-SEM Director stated that the faculty members are here to provide them with the necessary equipment to maximize their current potential and to build the infrastructure that will provide a good future, and emphasized that the students add another value to themselves with their efforts in education. 

Delivering the last speech of the day, Mustafa Özal, Co-Founder of ADDWORX, stated that the German accounting legislation and DATEV course provided to the students by DUT Berlin also contributed to the professional cooperation between Germany and Turkey and strengthened the economic and academic ties between the two countries. Stating that the aim of the training is to make students competitive and well-equipped in the global labor market, Özal emphasized that students are provided with the opportunity to work in ADDWORX's offices in Turkey or on the online platform thanks to the training they receive. Özal also gave the good news that the program will be repeated with a new group of students in the fall.

After the speeches, the ceremony, in which the students were presented with certificates prepared by DUT Berlin, ended with a souvenir photo shoot.
