Certificate of Appointment Presented to Our Rector, Prof. Dr. Cemal Yıldız

Following his reappointment as Rector of the Turkish-German University by Presidential Decree published in the Official Gazette No. 32962 dated 23 July 2026, our Rector, Prof. Dr. Cemal Yıldız, was presented with his certificate of appointment at a ceremony held at the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) on 13 August 2026.

Upon receiving his certificate of appointment from Prof. Dr. Erol Özvar, President of the Council of Higher Education, our Rector emphasized the responsibility entrusted to him and stated that efforts towards the sustainable development of our University and its success at both national and international levels would continue with dedication. Our Rector said, “I would like to express my sincere gratitude to our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the President of the Council of Higher Education, Prof. Dr. Erol Özvar, and the members of the Council for once again deeming me worthy of this important responsibility.”
