Dean’s Handover Ceremony Held at the Faculty of Science

A dean’s handover ceremony was held at the Faculty of Science of our University on January 29, 2026. Following the completion of the term of Prof. Dr. Yunus Ziya Arslan as Dean of the Faculty of Science, Prof. Dr. Aysu Yarman, Head of the Department of Molecular Biotechnology, was appointed as Interim Dean of the Faculty.

Our Rector Prof. Dr. Cemal Yıldız paid a visit to Prof. Dr. Aysu Yarman to congratulate her on her new appointment. The visit was attended by General Coordinator Prof. Dr. Ferit Küçükay and Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Aysel Uzuntaş, Prof. Dr. Hamide Özden Özkaya Ferendeci, and Prof. Dr. Yunus Ziya Arslan.

During the ceremony, which was attended by the academic and administrative staff of the Faculty of Science, Rector Prof. Dr. Cemal Yıldız thanked Prof. Dr. Yunus Ziya Arslan for his contributions to the faculty and wished Prof. Dr. Aysu Yarman success in her new role.
