Deputy Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Osman Boyraz Visits Our Rector

Deputy Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Osman Boyraz visited our Rector Prof. Dr. Cemal Yıldız in his office on March 6, 2026.

During this courteous visit, which took place as part of the UFEST 2026 events held on our university campus, discussions were held regarding our university's academic structure, ongoing projects in the field of transportation and infrastructure technologies, and planned strategic collaborations for the future. Our Rector, Prof. Dr. Cemal Yıldız, provided comprehensive information about our university's mission and technology-oriented goals, emphasizing the importance of application- and quality-focused progress in higher education.

Deputy Minister Osman Boyraz expressed his appreciation for the Turkish-German University's role as a bridge between industry and academia, particularly its success in providing qualified human resources to the transportation and information technology sectors. Mr. Boyraz emphasized that the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure and the University are always open to collaborative work and projects that could be developed between them.

The visit concluded with mutual expressions of goodwill and the strengthening of a shared vision for cooperation. Our Rector, Prof. Dr. Cemal Yıldız, expressed his gratitude to Deputy Minister Osman Boyraz for his kind visit and valuable contributions to our University.
