Our Sports Teams Achieve Notable Results at the Turkish Championships

Our university’s sports teams proudly represented our institution by competing in various categories at the Turkish Championships organized by the Turkish University Sports Federation.

Chess Team Earns Ranking and Medal
Our Chess Team participated in the University Chess Turkish Championship held between March 9–13, 2025, and hosted by Sivas Cumhuriyet University. Competing in both the open and women’s categories, our team placed 19th among 47 teams in the open category and 5th among 25 teams in the women’s category. Team member Helin Beren Aygün earned a medal after being recognized as the third-best player on Board 1 in the women’s competition for her
outstanding performance.
