Our University Featured in the CoHE 2025 Report with its Success Indicators

Our university stood out with the indicators it achieved in the fields of accessibility, university-industry cooperation, internationalization, and university website accessibility within the scope of the University Monitoring and Evaluation General Report-2025 published by the Council of Higher Education (CoHE).

We Ranked First in Accessibility
According to the report, our University became the university with the highest accessibility rate in Türkiye with 85.36% accessibility satisfaction rate, in line with the results of the 2024 Türkiye University Experience Survey (TÜDA). TÜDA includes accessibility questions in a wide range of areas in universities, from access to educational materials for disabled students to special education and counselling services; from physical arrangements in open spaces to information systems.

University-Industry Collaboration Publications Rank Fifth
Our University, which also demonstrates a strong performance in the field of university-industry collaboration, ranked fifth in Türkiye with 3.85% of publications made within the scope of university-industry collaboration to total publications. This indicator revealed that our University conducts its research activities based on application and interaction with the sector.

We Are Among the Leading Universities in Internationalization
In the field of internationalization, our University ranked among the universities employing the most international academic staff, with 45 international faculty members. This demonstrated that our University has strengthened its international and intercultural academic structure. However, approximately 100 faculty members from German partner universities who teach short-term courses at our University under the 'Flying Faculty' program were not included in this evaluation. Considering this academic collaboration, it is predicted that our University would also rank highly in this category.
Furthermore, our University demonstrated its active role in internationalization by being among the universities sending the most students through exchange programs. This result shows that our University plays an active role in international academic mobility and offers its students opportunities for international experience.

We Rank Among the Top in Website Accessibility
Our university has ranked among the most accessible universities in Türkiye with a 96% website accessibility rate. This achievement, obtained through the evaluation of the main pages and main subpages of university websites, demonstrates that our university applies the principles of social inclusion and equal access in the digital realm as well.

In his assessment of the published report, our Rector, Prof. Dr. Cemal Yıldız, stated that they welcomed the results obtained, saying, “As Turkish-German University, we see these results, which we have achieved in many areas from accessibility to research performance, from university-industry collaborations to internationalization, as an important source of motivation. We will resolutely continue our efforts to take our university even further.”

With these indicators obtained in the CoHE University Monitoring and Evaluation General Report-2025, our university has once again demonstrated that it continues its development in a sustainable manner.
