Our University Participated in the CoHE (YÖK) Internationalization Consultation Meeting

The “The Council of Higher Education (YÖK) Internationalization Consultation Meeting,” which addressed internationalization policies in higher education, was held on May 12, 2026, hosted by Ankara University. Our university was represented at the meeting by our Vice Rector Prof. Aysel Uzuntaş and our International Relations Office Coordinator Dr. Derya Nur Kayacan Fidan.

The meeting, organized under the coordination of the Council of Higher Education (YÖK), was attended by the Acting President of YÖK, Prof. Naci Gündoğan, representatives from the YÖK International Relations Department, the Ministry of Trade, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Directorate of Migration Management, the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, the National Agency, the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities, the Turkish Maarif Foundation, and the Yunus Emre Institute, as well as academic and administrative managers from various universities.

The meeting discussed internationalization strategies in higher education and the universities' current work in this area.
