Our University Represented at the Transnational Higher Education Annual Conference

Our university participated in the Transnational Higher Education Annual Conference, organized by the German Federal Ministry for Research, Technology and Space, and DAAD between April 13-15, 2026. Our Rector, Prof. Dr. Cemal Yıldız, and our General Coordinator, Prof. Dr. Ferit Küçükay, along with students from our Faculty of Engineering participating in a dual degree program at the Technical University of Berlin, attended the conference, which was also attended by the German Minister for Research, Technology and Space, Dorothea Bär.

Our Rector, Prof. Dr. Cemal Yıldız, and our General Coordinator, Prof. Dr. Ferit Küçükay, informed Minister Dorothea Bär about our institution during her visit to our stand. During the visit, opportunities for cooperation between our university and German partner universities, as well as universities in other countries with which Germany collaborates, were discussed.

The conference also provided an opportunity for international experts to discuss the role of cross-border education in the context of the shortage of qualified workforce, geopolitical change, and global higher education cooperation.
