Our University Strengthens Its Academic Structure by Initiating Student Admissions to Two New Departments

Our university continued to strengthen its academic structure in the 2026-2027 academic year. The Council of Higher Education (CoHE) approved the first-ever student admissions to the Psychology and German Language and Literature departments within the Faculty of Culture and Social Sciences.

Our Rector, Prof. Dr. Cemal Yıldız, stated that these new departments, established in line with an interdisciplinary and international education approach, will contribute to Turkish-German University's vision of quality education while providing our students with diverse academic and career opportunities. Our Rector expressed his hope that the Psychology and German Language and Literature Departments will be beneficial to our university, our students, and our country, and thanked everyone involved in bringing these two new departments to our university, especially the President of CoHE, Prof. Dr. Erol Özvar.

In line with our university's international and privileged education model, the partner university for the German Language and Literature Department is LMU Munich, and the partner university for the Psychology Department is Heidelberg University.
