Prof. Dr. Christian Krekeler from the University of Konstanz was a guest lecturer at the Turkish-German University between 20.11.-15.12.2023 as part of the Flying Faculty Programme. In addition to the various seminars he has organised for the MA in Teaching German as a Foreign Language, he has also organised four separate workshops/training events for the teaching staff of the School of Foreign Languages. The seminars and workshops/training events attracted a lot of interest among the teaching staff and were well attended. Prof. Dr. Krekeler emphasised that the high level of participation shows the high level of commitment of the teaching staff of the University: "My impression is that you are not only one of the largest German language centres in the world, but also one of the best."  We sincerely thank Prof. Dr Krekeler for this good cooperation and for his support and contribution as a visiting professor.
