The First Event of the "Science Communication Training Series for Academics" Held at Our University
The first event of the "Science Communication Training Series for Academics," organized by the Communication Coordination Office's Science Communication Office, was held on May 7, 2026, in the MAC Laboratory of the Social Sciences Building.
As part of the event, Dr. Dilara Tekrin gave a presentation titled "Science Communication and Social Media Content Production." The training addressed the importance and uses of social media in science communication, and the results of research conducted in this field were shared with the participants.
The program also included information on the basic principles of social media content production. Practical content production exercises were conducted for academics who wish to reach wider audiences with their scientific work through social media.
The event aimed to highlight the role of digital communication tools in effectively delivering scientific knowledge to society and to contribute to the development of academics' competencies in the field of science communication.
