Turkish-German University Ranked 4th in the “Employers’ Preferred University Index.”
26.07.2026
Our university achieved a proud accomplishment by ranking 4th nationwide in a new study based on employment data, which is a key factor in employers’ preferences for graduates. On the list, our university was followed, in order, by Istanbul Technical University, Boğaziçi University, Yıldız Technical University, Özyeğin University, and Middle East Technical University. This result has also been reflected in university rankings published recently by various news sources, which are based on the same index data. In these reports, Turkish-German University has been highlighted as one of the universities whose graduates attract employer interest and stand out in terms of their transition into the workforce.
Our Strong Position in Employer Interest
According to information published by Kariyer.net, the index measures, on a relative basis against a 100-point reference point, the level of interest shown by employers in candidates who have graduated from a specific university or department. The study is based on the matching of 436 million interactions by 458,000 employer users seeking new staff on Kariyer.net over the past 10 years with candidates’ CV details. The study assessed the speed at which graduates entered the workforce within the first two years following graduation, alongside the level of interest shown by employers in graduates from different universities and departments.
The Success of Our Graduates Reflects Our Institutional Goals
This result serves as a significant indicator of our graduates’ visibility amongst employers and their strong position during the transition to working life. We believe that the academic partnerships our university has developed with partner universities in Germany, our multilingual and practice-based education model, and the importance we place on university-industry relations have made significant contributions to our graduates’ professional competence.
We regard this success as a meaningful outcome of our student-centred approach to education and our objective of preparing our students for the national and international labour market; we aim to continue and expand our efforts in this area in the coming period.
