Turkish-German University Received Orange Flag Award within the scope of Barrier-Free University Awards 2023

Turkish-German University achieved success within the scope of the "Accessible University Awards 2023" organized by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) and aiming to promote barrier-free and accessible campuses at universities. Our university, which has been taking steps to encourage disabled individuals to participate more comfortably and equally in university life, deserved to be awarded the "Orange Flag" in the field of "Accessibility in Space" with its cafeteria and central library building.
The Orange Flag, which was received within the scope of the Barrier-Free University Awards 2023, was hoisted at the Rectorate Building with the participation of Turkish-German University Rector Prof. Cemal Yıldız, Vice Rector Prof. Hamide Özden Özkaya Ferendeci, Secretary General Harun Ceylan, Saniye Efe, who is the President of the Turkish Spinal Cord Paralytics Association Beykoz Branch, and academic and administrative staff. Turkish-German University Rector Prof. Cemal Yıldız thanked everyone who had contributed to the preparations for the award and stated that the preparations continue for the buildings which are nominated for the Barrier-Free University Flag Awards.
Preparations are underway within the framework of the nomination process for the Faculty of Science, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Faculty of Culture and Social Sciences, and the Faculty of Engineering and the School of Foreign Languages Building of the Turkish-German University.”
