Visit to Our University by the FEDEK Delegation

The FEDEK delegation, which conducts studies on the accreditation and quality processes of educational programs, paid a three-day visit to our University on February 15-16-17, 2026. The program began on February 15, 2026, with the FEDEK delegation meeting with the deans and vice deans of our Faculty of Science and Faculty of Culture and Social Sciences, the heads of the Departments of Materials Science and Technologies, Molecular Biotechnology and Culture and Communication Sciences, and touring the departments.

On the second day of the program, February 16, 2026, the FEDEK delegation met with our Rector, Prof. Dr. Cemal Yıldız. The meeting addressed the general framework of our university's quality assurance efforts and related programs. Following this, a stakeholder meeting was held with the FEDEK delegation, our Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Aysel Uzuntaş and Prof. Dr. Yunus Ziya Arslan, our faculty deans, and relevant department heads, for introductions and a general evaluation.

On February 17, 2026, the third and final day of the program, a general evaluation of the quality assurance processes was conducted. The visit concluded with a closing meeting regarding the program evaluation, attended by our Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Aysel Uzuntaş, Prof. Dr. Hamide Özden Özkaya-Ferendeci, Prof. Dr. Yunus Ziya Arslan, our deans, vice deans, department heads, and faculty members, followed by mutual expressions of goodwill.
