A First in the History of Framework Programmes in Turkey

Following the announcement of the application results for the second chapter of the Clean Hydrogen Partnership 2022, which is one of the institutionalised partnerships of the Horizon Europe programme, the project with the acronym HYSouthMarmara, involving 13 partners, including the research team Asisst. Prof. Sibel Özenler, Asisst. Prof. Meltem Karaismailoğlu Elibol, Wi.Mi. Mehmet Turan Görüryılmaz, Wi.Mi. Fuat Berke Gül and Wi. Mi. Berat Berkan Ünal of the Faculty of Engineering and Science of our university, approved for support.
The consortium with the acronym HYSouthMarmara (South Marmara Hydrogen Shore) includes 16 organisations presented in the call "HORIZON-JTI-CLEANH2-2022-06-02: H2 Valley (small scale)". The project aims to support the development of a regional hydrogen economy, with the main objective of phasing out the use of fossil fuels in industry and decarbonising industry and demonstrating the potential impact of the hydrogen economy.
