Academic Gown Ceremony Held for Our Academicians for New Academic Titles

An academic gowning ceremony was held on 21 December 2022 for two academicians for their new academic titles. One of the academicians is Süreyya İlkılıç, from the Department of Cultural and Communication Sciences at our university, has become an Associate Professor. Ömer Emrullah Egeliği, one of our academicians in the Faculty of Law, was awarded the title of Assistant Professor. The ceremony was attended by our Rector Prof. Dr. Cemal Yıldız, our General Coordinator Prof. Dr. Ferit Küçükay, Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Aysel Uzuntaş, Prof. Dr. Hamide Özden Özkaya Ferendeci, Prof. Dr. Ali Gökhan Yavuz, our faculty deans, institute and college directors and members of the senate.

Our Rector Prof. Dr. Cemal Yıldız put on the new academic gowns on Assoc. Dr. Sureyya İlkiliç and Asst. Prof. Ömer Emrullah Egeliği to celebrate their new titles. The ceremony ended after our Rector Prof. Dr. Yıldız and out Coordinator Prof. Dr. Ferit Küçükay have presented a letter of congratulation and have taken a souvenir photo with our academics.
