Demoday Held at TGU brought Entrepreneurs and Investors Together

Turkish-German University hosted the closing event of Demoday Project. The project was organized within the scope of the "Commercialization-Oriented Sustainable Cooperation Platform: Istanbul Innovation and Technology Licensing Center" Project, which was carried out within the body of Digitalpark Teknokent and supported by the Istanbul Development Agency (İSTKA). Turkish-German University Rector Prof. Dr. Cemal Yıldız, Vice Rector of Istanbul Medeniyet University Prof. Dr. Yaşar Bülbül, Çekmeköy Deputy Mayor Latif Coşar, General Manager of Digitalpark Teknokent Prof. Dr. Tahsin Engin, faculty deans and faculty members attended the event. Thanks to this event, entrepreneurs and investors had the chance to come together.
After the presentations, as a result of the evaluations of the jury, Berkay Bor and his team came first with their project "Sekonderma", Furkan Karayel and his team came second with their project "Phoneq", and Serhat Can Bayar and his team came third with their project "Some Carbon". Participants received training and mentorship support at the event and shared their business ideas and made use of commercialization opportunities. The entrepreneurs selected after the jury evaluation at the Digital Path Demoday are supported in various ways. These kinds of support provide important contributions that will enable entrepreneurs to get closer their goals step by step.
