Disaster Awareness Training was Held at Turkish-German University

Within the scope of the Disaster Awareness Training and Cooperation Protocol signed between our University and Istanbul Governorship Provincial Disaster and Emergency Directorate, Disaster Awareness Trainings were held on 16-17 October 2023 in the 1st floor Conference Hall of Classrooms Building, Block C. The training, attended by the academic and administrative staff and students of Turkish-German University, was given by Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD) Instructor Özgür Özaltun, who is working within the scope of the " Ready  for Disaster Turkey Project". Within the scope of the training, which was carried out to prepare the members of our university against various disasters and emergencies such as fire and earthquake, and to raise awareness about how to act in emergency situations, important information was given about preparations before disasters, correct behaviour during disasters, the first hours after the disaster and the risks in our environment.
