Our Rector, Prof. Dr. Cemal Yıldız, Held High-Level Meetings at the EAIE Gothenburg 2025 International Education Conference

Our Rector, Prof. Dr. Cemal Yıldız, held a series of high-level meetings in Gothenburg, Sweden, as part of the EAIE Gothenburg 2025 International Education Conference, one of the most important events of the European Association for International Education (EAIE).

During the conference, Prof. Dr. Yıldız met with İlker Astarcı, the President of the Turkish National Agency, to discuss more effective implementations of Erasmus+ and similar international programs. At the end of the meeting, our Rector presented the National Agency President a meaningful gift on behalf of our University.
Throughout the conference, Turkish-German University held numerous bilateral meetings under the leadership of our Rector, exploring new collaboration opportunities. In this context, contacts were held with the Technische Hochschule Mannheim, Rheinland-Pfälzische Technische Universität, Hochschule Bielefeld, Universität Hohenheim, Universität Leibniz, Hamburg School of Business Administration, Kosova Isa Boletini Üniversitesi, Helmut Schmidt Universität, Universität München, Hochschule Aalen, Freie Universität Berlin, and the Hochschule Hannover. These discussions resulted in at least 10 new potential collaboration agreements in diverse fields, including engineering, business, economics, biotechnology, political science, and media studies.

EAIE Gothenburg 2025 has emerged as a significant platform that aims to bring together higher education institutions from around the world, fostering interuniversity collaboration, creating new partnership opportunities, and increasing student and academic mobility.
