Our Rector Yıldız Congratulated Our Award Winner Student In The International Competition

Turkish-German University (TGU) Rector Prof. Cemal Yıldız and Vice Rector Prof. Aysel Uzuntaş congratulated the success of Yavuz Bülent Yurduseven, who is a student at the preparatory class and Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department and who represented our country in the International Regeneron ISEF 2022 Competition in which he participated.

At the meeting held to congratulate Yavuz Bülent Yurduseven, who successfully represented our country in the international arena by receiving a special and a grand prize in the International Regeneron ISEF Science and Engineering Competition, the content of the competition and the participating projects were discussed. Rector Yıldız and Vice Rector Uzuntaş gave Yavuz Yurduseven some presents and wished him the continuation of his success.

Yavuz Bülent Yurduseven, who won two prizes which were the third place in the 'USA National Security Agency Research Award' category and fourth place in the 'Grand Prize' given to the top 4 in the Mathematics category at the International Regeneron ISEF Science and Engineering Competition (International Science and Engineering Competition) organized by the Society for Science & the Public Association with the support of corporate and academic sponsors in Atlanta, the capital of the US state of Georgia, in May 2022 with the participation of 1,750 students with 1,140 projects from 63 countries. The projects which participated in the competition had been determined by going through four stages such as preliminary evaluation, regional evaluation, final evaluation and determination of the participants in international project competitions in the 2204-A High School Students Research Projects Competition, which has been organized by TUBITAK (THE SCIENTIFIC AND TECHNOLOGICAL RESEARCH COUNCIL OF TÜRKİYE) for 53 years. Among the 13 projects, three projects were considered worthy of special awards and four projects were judged worthy of the Regeneron ISEF grand prize.
