The "Artificial Intelligence Era in HR" Summit was held with the Participation of Our Rector

The "Artificial Intelligence Era in HR – 2nd Human Resources Summit", organized in collaboration with the Digital Transformation Research Centre of our university (TGU- DDUAM) and the German-Turkish Chamber of Commerce and Industry (AHK Türkiye) Human Resources (HR) Working Group, was held on November 19, 2025, at the Conference Hall of the School of Foreign Languages.
Our Rector Prof. Dr. Cemal Yıldız, our General Coordinator Prof. Dr. Ferit Küçükay, AHK Türkiye President Bige Yücel, TGU-DDUAM Director Prof. Dr. Müge Klein, our academics, industry representatives and students attended the program.
In his opening remarks, Rector Prof. Dr. Cemal Yıldız stated that university-industry collaboration plays a vital role in the quality policy of Turkish-German University and that the joint efforts with AHK Türkiye further strengthen this collaboration. Our Rector also emphasized the strategic importance of artificial intelligence in human resources processes, emphasizing that the summit highlighted a current theme in this field.
Our General Coordinator, Prof. Dr. Ferit Küçükay, also emphasized in his speech that artificial intelligence is rapidly gaining importance in the field of human resources, but that humans must always be at the centre of this transformation. He stated that technology creates real value only when used consciously in the processes of attracting the right talent, developing employees, and making fair decisions. He emphasized the crucial importance of university-industry collaboration in managing this change effectively and wished all participants a productive summit.
Following the opening remarks, the program hosted comprehensive sessions addressing the technological, strategic, legal, and ethical dimensions of artificial intelligence in the human resources field. The program concluded with closing remarks.
