The 2025-2026 Orientation Program was Held with Strong Student Participation

The orientation program for new students joining our university for the 2025-2026 academic year was held on September 29, 2025, in the Conference Hall of Block D in the Classrooms Building. The program, which was attended by Rector Prof. Dr. Cemal Yıldız, General Coordinator Prof. Dr. Ferit Küçükay, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Aysel Uzuntaş, Director of the School of Foreign Languages Prof. Dr. Leyla Coşan, faculty members, administrative staff, and students, was met with great interest.
In his opening speech, our Rector provided detailed information about the German preparatory education offered at our University, the Vocational Training Program in Business Administration, international opportunities, especially the dual diploma opportunity, and the academic and physical facilities of our University.
In his speech representing the Turkish-German University Consortium, our General Coordinator highlighted the academic and curriculum support provided by Germany and emphasized the importance of learning German for our students' future academic and professional success.
Our Vice Rector touched upon the points that students should pay attention to during their adaptation to university life and advised our students to make their academic plans consciously.
As part of the program, the Communications Coordination gave an introductory presentation detailing our university's structure and facilities. The Director of the School of Foreign Languages provided information about preparatory education and exam procedures, while the Student Affairs Department explained the general functioning of student procedures. The Health, Culture, and Sports Department addressed campus life, student groups, social activities, and part-time/tutor student programs. The Library and Documentation Department provided information about the library collection and digital resources. The International Relations Coordinator presented on international opportunities such as Erasmus+, the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), Mevlana, and dual degree programs.
The program concluded with an interactive session where students asked questions.
