The 6th Annual Business Conference was held at our University
Opening remarks were delivered by our Rector Prof. Dr. Cemal Yıldız, our General Coordinator Prof. Dr. Ferit Küçükay, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences Dean Prof. Dr. Elif Nuroğlu, Faculty Coordinator Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zaur Gasimov, and Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences Faculty of Business Administration Dean Prof. Dr. Rıza Öztürk. In his speech, our Rector emphasized that dynamics such as digital transformation, artificial intelligence, sustainability, and diversity are reshaping the business world.
Emphasizing the importance of university-industry collaboration, our Rector stated that the conference offered a multifaceted platform that brought together the academic and practical dimensions of this transformation. He also noted that the long-standing collaboration between Turkish-German University and Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences has been further strengthened with the contributions of DAAD and Siemens Turkey.
In his opening remarks, our General Coordinator, Prof. Dr. Ferit Küçükay, emphasized that companies in business administration should not only assess their current situation but also shape their future goals. He stated that digitalization and artificial intelligence will play a decisive role in all areas of business. He emphasized that technology also raises ethical and humanitarian questions, and that artificial intelligence will become an indispensable support element in all business processes, from market research to production, sales, and service.
The event's keynote speaker, Siemens Türkiye President and CEO Dr. Hüseyin Gelis, delivered a comprehensive presentation on the impact of digital transformation on leadership and organizational structure.
The first session of the conference focused on digital transformation, AI-based leadership, and intercultural communication. The afternoon sessions focused on the role of AI in strategic management, ethics and bias in recruitment processes, and new research in consumer behavior and entrepreneurship.
The conference, which attracted great interest from academics, researchers and industry representatives, offered a productive environment for sharing ideas by discussing current trends in business management in a multi-dimensional manner.
