Touring and Automobile Association of Turkey was at our School for a Safe Journey

Within the scope of the social responsibility project initiated by the Touring and Automobile Association of Turkey aiming to prevent possible accidents in the use of alternative transportation vehicles and to travel more safely, free reflective vests were distributed at our university on Thursday, December 8, 2022.

On behalf of Touring and Automobile Association of Turkey, which has been working for the public interest in the automobile industry and road safety since 1923, Vice President Prof. Dr. Ahmet Emre Bilgili participated in the event. The event was accompanied by our Our Rector Dr. Cemal Yıldız, our Vice Rectors and Deans. In their speech to our students, our Rector Yıldız and Touring Vice President Bilgili drew attention to the obligation to use reflective equipment at night in order to prevent accidents that may occur in the use of motorcycles, bicycles, mopeds and electric scooters, which are becoming increasingly common today as alternative means of transportation. Our students showed great interest in the event that was held to support the widespread use of vests among young people and to raise awareness about road safety.
