Turkish-German University met its new students at the Orientation Program

2023-2024 Academic Year Orientation Program for Newly Beginning Students was held on Monday, October 2, 2023, with the participation of our Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Aysel Uzuntaş, faculty members and staff, administrative staff and students in the Classrooms Building, Block D Conference Hall. The orientation program, with intense participation, started with by the opening and welcome speech of our Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Aysel Uzuntaş. Providing information about university life, Prof. Dr. Uzuntaş advised students to be open to learning and to embrace the process of learning new information with pleasure. Afterwards, the Coordination of Turkish-German University Press and Public Relations made an informative presentation about the structure and promotion of the university. Within the scope of the program, our School of Foreign Languages Director Prof. Dr. Leyla Coşan addressed the students with her presentation on the preparation class and exam processes. Our Student Affairs Department gave information about the general functioning of student affairs processes with its presentation. In the presentation of our Health, Culture and Sports Department, topics such as campus life, student communities, social activities, accommodation, transportation and part-time student tutoring program were discussed. In the orientation program, with the presentation titled "Fighting Addiction and Awareness", important information that students should pay attention to about addiction was presented. Our Library and Documentation Department gave information about the library collection, digital resources and book borrowing procedures to students. The Coordination of International Relations provided information about international opportunities and connections such as Erasmus, Mevlana and double degree programs. The program ended after the question-answer session.
