A Cooperation Protocol was Signed Between Our University and Haydarpaşa High School
The cooperation protocol between our university and Haydarpaşa High School, which covers issues related to education, culture, law and social activities, was signed with the participation of our Rector Prof. Cemal Yıldız, our Vice Rector Prof. Aysel Uzuntaş, Haydarpaşa High School Principal Vahdet Kemal Oral and Haydarpaşa High School Foundation President Emin Gökalp Baş.

In cooperation with our University and Beykoz Municipality, Beykoz Kahvecisi served coffee and cookies to our students and staff in front of the SFL Building on Monday, November 20, 2023. The Academic Gowning Ceremony which was held on the occasion of Berke Özenç, an academician of the Faculty of Law, and Erdem Kılıç and Semih Emre Çekin, academicians of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, being awarded the title of Associate Professor as well as İsmail Çınar, an academician of the Faculty of Law, Osman Sinan Süslü, an academician of the Faculty of Science, and Dilara Tekrin, an academician of the Faculty of Culture and Social Sciences being conferred the title of Doctor Lecturer, was carried out on October 25, 2023.

Earthquake Drill was Held at Turkish-German University in Cooperation with AFAD
Within the scope of the protocol signed between our university and Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD), an earthquake building evacuation drill exercise was held on October 24, 2023. When the drill started at 10:00 with a siren, the staff and students in all buildings positioned themselves in the fetal position lying next to objects that would not be crushed, and waited for the siren sound, which represented the moment of the earthquake, to stop.

Within the scope of the Narco Youth Project carried out by the Istanbul Police Department Anti-Narcotic Crimes Branch, Narco Truck visited our University campus on 16-20 October 2023. A conference was held at Turkish-German University D Block Conference Hall within the framework of the program aiming to combat drug use by young people.
Visit from Heinrich-Heine-Universität Düsseldorf to Turkish-German University
Within the framework of the reciprocal academic cooperation signed between Istanbul Kent University and Heinrich-Heine-Universität Düsseldorf (HHU Düsseldorf), Prof. Dr. Andreas Engelen, Head of the Department of Management at HHU Düsseldorf Faculty of Business and Economics, and a delegation of 10 master's and 4 doctoral students visited our University.
Disaster Awareness Training was Held at Turkish-German University
Within the scope of the Disaster Awareness Training and Cooperation Protocol signed between our University and Istanbul Governorship Provincial Disaster and Emergency Directorate, Disaster Awareness Trainings were held on 16-17 October 2023 in the 1st floor Conference Hall of Classrooms Building, Block C. The training, attended by the academic and administrative staff and students of Turkish-German University, was given by Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD) Instructor Özgür Özaltun, who is working within the scope of the " Ready for Disaster Turkey Project".
