Project Success of Our Young Faculty Member in the International Arena
Assist. Prof. Dr. Cagatay Elibol's multinational CORNET (COllective Research NETworking) project proposal entitled "WaxCelMet - Design and efficient manufacturing of cellular wax/metal structures for heat exchange and thermal energy storage applications", submitted in partnership with Yıldız Technical University, Germany - Fraunhofer Institute (IWU) and Chemnitz Technical University, has been deemed worthy of support by both Germany and Turkey.

Our rector Prof. Cemal Yıldız and assistant professor Çağatay Elibol, the General Manager of the Turkish-German University Surface Research and Innovation Center and Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Science at Turkish- German University, hosted Safa Bayar Yavuz, a member of the Board of Directors of ASAŞ Aluminum Industry and Trade Inc. together with the accompanying delegation at our campus on July 5, 2022. Turkish-German University (TGU) Rector Prof. Cemal Yıldız and Vice Rector Prof. Aysel Uzuntaş congratulated the success of Yavuz Bülent Yurduseven, who is a student at the preparatory class and Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department and who represented our country in the International Regeneron ISEF 2022 Competition in which he participated.

Rector Yıldız put forward his paper titled "The Current Situation of Turkish-German Scientific Relations" at the workshop titled "Workshop of German Scientists in Turkey: Contribution of German Scientists to the Development of Modern Turkey" organized by the Turkish Historical Society on 30 June 2022 in Munich.
