Turkish-German University met with candidate students and their families at the Open Days organized on 25-26-27 July 2023. The promotional activities that took place on the campus of our university in Beykoz were followed with interest by more than 5 thousand visitors.

Turkish-German University 7th Graduation Ceremony Held
Turkish-German University (TGU) 2022-2023 Academic Year Graduation Ceremony was performed on Friday, 7th July 2023 with the participation of our Rector Prof. Cemal Yıldız, Prof. Bekir Sami Yılbaş, Rector of Turkish-Japanese Science and Technology University and Vice Rectors: Prof. Hisakazu Mihara, Prof. Ahmet Şahin, as well as Turkish-German University Vice Rectors Prof. Aysel Uzuntaş, Prof. Hamide Ozden Ozkaya Ferendeci, Prof. Ali Gökhan Yavuz, faculty deans and faculty members, graduate students and their relatives.
We hosted Beykoz Science High School as part of TAU-SEM/MEB Seminar Series.
On Thursday, May 11, 2023, an event was held at TGU for Beykoz Science High School students as part of the cooperation of TGU / Beykoz District Directorate of National Education.
The cooperation between TAU-SEM and ADDWORX has reached a new level.

A First in the History of Framework Programmes in Turkey
Following the announcement of the application results for the second chapter of the Clean Hydrogen Partnership 2022, which is one of the institutionalised partnerships of the Horizon Europe programme, the project with the acronym HYSouthMarmara, involving 13 partners, including the research team Asisst. Prof. Sibel Özenler, Asisst. Prof. Meltem Karaismailoğlu Elibol, Wi.Mi. Mehmet Turan Görüryılmaz, Wi.Mi. Fuat Berke Gül and Wi. Mi. Berat Berkan Ünal of the Faculty of Engineering and Science of our university, approved for support.

Academic Gowning Ceremony Held at Our University
On the occasion of Ayşe Elif Posos Devrani, one of the academicians of the Faculty of Culture and Social Sciences at our university, and Ahmet Tanju Yelkenci, one of the academicians of the Faculty of Engineering, being awarded the title of Associate Professor as well as Ahmet Batuhan Oyal from the Faculty of Law and Ömer Faruk Aydın, one of the academicians of the Faculty of Engineering being conferred the title of Doctor Lecturer, the academic gowning ceremony was held on January 18, 2023.

At the meeting held at TGU Rectorate Office on December 20, 2022, a cooperation protocol in education was signed between TGU-CEC (Turkish-German University-Continuing Education Center) and German Addworx company, and the training to be given to students by the company was launched.
